A lovely cafe with French roots, where you can get freshly baked pastry, salads, eggs and great coffee. Michelle Bakery stands not only for delicious but also healthy bites. One of the reasons we particularly love this place, is because it often organises special events for kids and supports different charity projects. Located in a very trendy part of Moscow, Patriarshie Prudy, Breakfast Café is popular among locals, expats and tourists. You can get there anything from hearty eggs, fresh pastry to sweet treats. All looks delicious and is beautifully served. Might seem slightly overpriced but it’s the standard in the area. Located on Malaya Nikitskaya 2/1. Open from 8:00 am
If you got a huge sweet tooth, this is the place to go! Conversation Café has a great selection of home made cakes, muffins, cookies and desserts, which all taste (and look) pretty amazing! Traditional salty choices like sandwiches or pastry won’t disappoint you either. Friendly staff and the cook are waiting for hungry guests from 8:00 a.m. on Bolshaya Nikitskaya 23/14/9.
Famous for the delicious bagels and its owner – Ksenya Sobchak (a well known, independent Russian journalist). Café Bublik is a great place for a morning, or evening, catch up with friends, especially in the summer when you can sit in the sunny outside terrace. Except from the bagels, you can choose from traditional Russian breakfasts (including a huge portion of porridge) to tasty international bites. Vegetarians also won’t leave hungry. Karavaev Brothers’ Culinary Shop (Кулинарная лавка братьев Караваевых)
Technically, this is a bakery but you won’t be complaining when you sample their breakfast menu. Come in and enjoy hot coffee, homemade desserts and fresh pastry in a simple but relaxing setting. Eat your breakfast inside or take it away. Karavaev Brothers’ bakery is definitely a great food for a good price. Several location, for example on Tverskoy Bulvar 20/4. Open from 8:00 am
Jean-Jacques Café (Жан-Жак)
Inspired by the great boulevard restaurants of Paris, Jean-Jacques is a stylish Café with a welcoming and lovely ambience.
